Charlotte Pelgen & Jake Smithies
With a pinch of dark humour and the wink of an eye the Muckrakers present swing, cabaret and noir songs from the early 20th century as well as original compositions. Jake Smithies from Dead Mans Uke brings raucous blues energy and raw slap bass riffs to the table while Charlotte Pelgen from the Bad Mouse Orchestra gives the songs authentic golden swing era vibes. Now sharing a place together in the german black forrest they love putting fresh energy into dusty old songs.
